Rigid Bronchoscopy
Rigid Bronchoscopy is a procedure used to examine the tracheobronchial tree in order to remove tissue, dilate areas of airway narrowing, or insert prostheses (also known as
stents) to treat airway obstruction.
Procedures are performed in the operating room under general anesthesia, and may involve the additional use of flexible bronchoscopy and lasers.
