Pulmonary and Critical Care Faculty | Multidisciplinary Chest Group | Pulmonary Physician's Group Pulmonary and Critical Care Faculty The pulmonary and critical care team at UCI Medical Center includes many recognized leaders in the field of pulmonary and critical care medicine. As pulmonologists, our physicians possess specialized knowledge and skill in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary (lung/respiratory) conditions and diseases. Our physicians provide consultations for patients with all types of respiratory symptoms and disorders, including asthma, chronic cough, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), lung cancer, pneumonia, and sarcoidosis. Williams Jr., MD Click on image for larger size. Multidisciplinary Chest Group Our pulmonologists coordinate patient care efforts with other specialty services in the multidisciplinary chest group. Each week a conference is held where interesting and difficult cases are discussed within a multidisciplinary approach. Various specialty physicians work together in order to optimize patient care. Each week patients are seen in clinic for pulmonary consultation. Tests are ordered, procedures scheduled and follow-up care is given. Dr. Brenner oversees and coordinates the efforts of Volunteer Clinical Attending Pulmonologists and Pulmonary Fellows in Training.
